My little fish!

We have been spending most of our summer at our neighborhood pool swimming, but I never have my camera with me because its usually just me and the kids and I don't want to have to worry about my camera on top of them. Well today Chris joined us so I brought my camera along to take pictures of my little fish. Adriana has been swimming back and forth across the pool for a few weeks but I've been too protective to let her jump off the diving board, I'm not really even sure how big you are before you start doing this. Finally today I let her try, and what do you know.......she LOVED it! I know she had to spend at least a good hour diving off the board. She is getting too big too fast!!!!!
So here is a picture of her diving off the board (yes she holds her nose as she jumps). And here she is swimming around in the deep end heading over to the ladder.Well my other little fish, who still is a little scared, is also swimming under water. He is my little stair fish. He is still too afraid to go into the deep water, but he swims underwater along the stairs and actually stays under water for a good 10 seconds. I like this though because I would be a crazy nervous wreck if I had to keep my eye on two of them in the deeper parts.
So here is a picture of my other little fish swimming under water. And here he is chillin out playing with some toys along the side. Its a good thing this pool is not very crowded, it gives the boys room to play on the stairs while sissy is playing in the big pool.

Blueberry picking!

Yesterday I took the kids blueberry picking at Windridge Farms. We tried to go last week but they got picked out early so this time we made sure to get there really early. We had a blast and picked lots of blueberries. We finally ran out of the blueberries we picked last year and put into the freezer so it was definitely time to get more!
Here is Adriana looking at each blueberry to make sure it is perfect. Sometimes we had to reach really high to pick the perfect blueberries!
Even Joey got in on the picking action, although his weren't always the blue ones :)Yummy!!!! The kids all got a taste of the yummy blueberries! Here is a look at all the blueberries we picked. I think we got around 5 lbs, which sounds like a lot but I know it won't last us through the winter. So I'm sure we will be going a few more times to get a good stock pile in our freezer.

I already got my hands on a few and made some homemade blueberry muffins this morning......yummy!!!!!

Popcorn and a movie!

There's nothing better than chillin out at home with some popcorn and a good movie!

Sports

Here is a few pictures of Adriana's last Tball game on Tuesday night. I'm glad now we didn't sign up for the summer session as she was already complaining that she was sooooo hot! What a girl!!!!....hehe!
Here she is playing a little outfield and waiting to catch the ball. Here she is up at bat, WOW what a hit! Alright, so she hits like a girl too :)And running the bases, yes I know she runs like a girl too!!!!! Good thing shes a girl....ha!
Adriana sitting on the bench with the rest of her "boy" teammates, she still was the only girl on the team.
While she was playing Tball, Chris was showing Andrew how to dribble the soccer ball. I tell you what, this boy catches on really quick. In no time he was running back and forth on the field dribbling the ball. I guess its time to get him signed up for some soccer! I was just in awe watching how fast this boy catches onto sports.

Various pictures

These are just some various pictures of the kiddos.
Here is happy Joey. Here are some pictures from a day at the park with some friends.
Joey playing in the dirt with his truck.
Across the park in the woods there was a momma deer with a baby. So all the kids lined up to watch the deers. Some more playing in the dirt.
Brothers chillin out together. Don't they look almost the same size!? I told Andrew that Joey will be passing him up in no time!Joey playing with Andrew's police hat (I know who would have thought there would be anything police related in my house....haha!)

Another lost tooth!!!

Last night Adriana lost her third tooth! I tell you this little girl is going to start kindergarten with a mouth full of empty teeth at the rate she is going. She lost another bottom tooth and still has loose teeth on top! So we had another trip from the toothfairy last night.

Happy 4th of July!

Every year my kids look so forward to the 4th of July for one thing (no its not the fireworks!!!!) the parades with all the candy! Well this is the first year that we had to miss it because it was pouring down rain all morning. The kids were really upset as they had been waiting all week for the parade. But never fear....New Town St. Charles was also having a parade. The rain was now a drizzle so we decided to brave it to that parade with our friends Whitney and Mark and their daughter Ava.
Here is the kids waiting patiently for the parade to start. Wouldn't you know it though, right before the parade was to begin it started raining again :( But we are already here so we put the umbrellas up and waited for the parade.
This parade was not very big but the kids still scored TONS of candy, which is all they cared about anyway. So it did turn out to be a decent 4th of July. Now as far as the fireworks, we watch them out Adriana's window because we sit up on a hill and we can see fireworks for miles. Plus they are still scared of the noise so this works out better without having to brave the crowds at the fairs.

Another good shopping trip!

I know I said I wasn't going to be doing anymore shopping this week, but Shop n Save was having such good sales I couldn't pass it up. So for my Shop n Save trip this week I saved a total of $61.06 and only spent $20.86, thats a savings of 75%!!! Thats why I couldn't pass it up this week. I did go over my weekly allowance by $5 but it was totally worth it and I will make it up next week. So here is my coupon from my last visit. I also made one last trip to Walgreens to buy a few snacks for the park. I bought 4 cans of Pringles chips and 3 packs of Wrigleys gum and only spent $.76 out of pocket. So that is my shopping for the week!

Another day fishing with Daddy!

After begging Daddy to take him fishing the entire week it was so hot, we finally got a break in the weather that made it more enjoyable to go fishing. So here is a few snapshots of yet another fishing day! On the way down to the fishing pond from our house is a steep hill which is hard to walk down. Andrew was so worried about Joey falling down the hill so he kept a tight hold on his hand to help him down. It was so cute
