My baby girl is done with preschool!

My baby girl is officially a big girl now as she graduates from preschool! I thought I would be better at handling this, but I really hate seeing her grow up so fast. Everytime I blink my eyes she is growing! So she is no longer a preschooler but a big girl :(
Here is the picture of her class putting on their performance for us. And Adriana telling everyone that she wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up then getting her certificate.
Here is Adriana with her two teachers Mrs. DeVries and Mrs. Thomas. They are both wonderful teachers and Adriana just adores them!Adriana stopping to take a pose outside with her flowers.
I just can't believe it is all over and she will be in her big girl school next year!!!!! And don't worry, I will have plenty more sad posts as we show her first days of school;(

Fun day at the Zoo!

With the weather being so nice out lately, its really hard to pass up a fun day at the zoo. So I packed up the kids and headed out to a fun day at the zoo with our friend Cindy and her kids.
Here is a picture of Adriana posing on the seals. And Andrew posing on them (sometimes its just too much to ask for all the kids to be in one picture :)
Andrew and Joey checking out the fish and hippos. Then we headed over to the zoomagination station. This is one of my kids favorite places to visit and momma likes it because its full of educational things and the extra bonus that its free!
Joey checking out the water table.Adriana looking at the bugs up close.Joey climbing through a tunnel.Andrew playing at one of the tables.Joey checking out the handsome little guy looking back at him!Adriana, Andrew, and Brianna skipping down the street. We had such a fun day that it whipped out my boys on the way home

MawMaw and PawPaw's new boat!

Well my parents finally broke down and bought a bigger boat that would fit all the family on. Their old boat, which was a speed boat, was sold to my little brother (which depressed Chris as he thought I would actually let him buy it!) So now they have upgraded to a pontoon boat that will easily fit all of us on it. Its also got the bigger motor on it so we can still water ski behind it, that is if my butt can still get up on the skiis after so many years.
So here is the pictures of the boat on the day they brought it home.
Here is my dad, Chris, Joey, and my little brother Kevin checking out the new boat.
Here is my three kids checking out how high we are up.
And Adriana has her spot picked out to lounge in the sun.We will be taking this boat down camping at Table Rock with us in a few weeks and I can't wait to test it out on the water! My kids are also super excited and Andrew actually wanted to sleep in his new life jacket we got him! Stay tuned for some more fun pictures of the new toy!

Mother's Day!

At first I sat here at work tonight thinking about Mother's Day and how I spent the day doing laundry, dishes, and working. But then I thought, no thats not really how it went. Chris woke up at 6 am with Joey and let me sleep in then he made me breakfast and I woke up to a face full of slobbery kisses (my favorite kind!!!!!). I did a few loads of laundry and sat on the floor with my kids who helped hand me the clothes as I folded them up. I then did dishes where I talked with Adriana as I rinsed the dishes off and she put them into the dishwasher (always my favorite kind of talks with her!). Then I made a few deserts for Chris to take over to his mom's house later that day. My kids all took turns helping me mix up the food and licking the bowl afterwards. Then it was time for me to come to work, which is about the most relaxing time I can get with three little kids running around the house. So it was the perfect mother's day I could have ever asked for, after all its all about my little cuties anyway!!!!
I hope all of you had a great Mother's Day as well!

Fishing Derby!

Every year my neighborhood holds a fishing derby at the pond behind our house. This is the first year we have actually been in town for it so the kids were so excited to join in, especially Andrew who could hardly sleep the night before.
Here is a few pictures of the kids fishing.
Andrew being very serious as he starts the morning off. Adriana and Andrew patiently waiting for a bite on their lines.
Andrew and Daddy watching the fishing lines.Although Joey is still too young to fish, he was there to cheer on his sister and brother. Both of the kids each caught 3 fish. Here is Adriana with one of her fish. Of course she is such a girly girl and won't even come close to touching it.Here is Andrew with his first fish he caught and the only bass the two caught. This fish was also the biggest fish caught so Andrew won a trophy and a brand new fishing pole!!!Andrew was so excited and had to call everyone he knew as soon as we got home! Now he has a new fishing pole to fish with when we go to Table Rock Lake in a few weeks! Way to go Andrew!

Congratulations Kaitlyn!

Last Saturday my niece (and Goddaughter), Kaitlyn, got confirmed. I was lucky enough to be chosen as her sponsor, which was a great honor! She was confirmed down at the Cathedral Basilica downtown which is an absolutely beautiful church! Of course I forgot my camera in the car because I knew I would be sitting at the front of the church with Kaitlyn so I didn't want to worry about it so I unfortunately didn't get any of the great shots of the church, but I will try to get some of the pictures my mom and sister took. Here is the only picture I have, which isn't a great on because my sister didn't know how to work my camera :)
Congratulations again Kaitlyn! I am so proud of what a beautiful young lady you have become and I can't wait to see what the future will hold!

Adriana playing T Ball

Tuesday night Adriana started playing T Ball. She was super excited about this even though she is not much of a baseball fan (Andrew on the other hand cried because he wasn't old enough yet to play :( . Chris was helping assist coach so that made her all the more excited. She did really good and was starting to catch and throw pretty well (at least for a girl) by the end of pratice. She is also the only girl on her team.
Here she is catching a ground ball with Daddy behind her in case she misses.
Here is a shot of her throw (yeah, she throws like a girl....hehehe)I tried to get a shot of her batting, but I was on the wrong side so it didn't really turn out very well. But I did get her running her way home.
And here she is at the end of the game giving high 5's. Not only is she the only girl on her team, but she is also a head taller than most of the boys ;)

She was so excited after the game and said she can't wait to play again next week!

Busy, busy, busy!

I know I have really been slacking on my blog these last few weeks, I just don't seem to have any free time anymore. Between working both jobs, the older two's preschool, keeping my housework done, tball, Andrew's speech classes, and the many other little things I keep getting into I just don't know where my free time is anymore. I can't wait for summer and the kids to be done with school so our lives can slow down a little. I have a ton of pictures on my camera to get downloaded and add on here. It will get better next month when we will finally be on summer vacation! I promise I will be back soon!
