Fishing Derby!

Every year my neighborhood holds a fishing derby at the pond behind our house. This is the first year we have actually been in town for it so the kids were so excited to join in, especially Andrew who could hardly sleep the night before.

Andrew and Daddy watching the fishing lines.Although Joey is still too young to fish, he was there to cheer on his sister and brother.Both of the kids each caught 3 fish. Here is Adriana with one of her fish. Of course she is such a girly girl and won't even come close to touching it.Here is Andrew with his first fish he caught and the only bass the two caught.This fish was also the biggest fish caught so Andrew won a trophy and a brand new fishing pole!!!Andrew was so excited and had to call everyone he knew as soon as we got home! Now he has a new fishing pole to fish with when we go to Table Rock Lake in a few weeks! Way to go Andrew!
