Christmas morning!

We came home Christmas Eve and Santa had left the kids each a pair of pajamas to sleep in. The kids were super excited to put their new pjs on. Adriana's had little dogs on hers that she called "Marley". We then put Joey to bed and got the other two ready to go to bed. They were soooo excited!!! They both laid down in Adriana's bed and I read them a couple of stories. As I was getting ready to leave I told them they had to go to sleep or Santa wouldn't come. Adriana immediately closed her eyes really hard, it was funny. I left and checked on them 10 minutes later and they were both out cold. The next morning I managed to get up just a few minutes before they did and had the video camera out ready to video tape their expressions. Adriana came down first then Andrew headed down. The look on Andrew's face and his expressions were priceless!!!! I was so glad to get it on tape! This is the first year that Adriana is reading so I let her read all the tags and hand out the presents. She loved her new job!!! Unfortunately I spent to much time video taping and didn't get very many pictures. The kids had a great Christmas and thanked Santa for all the presents. We then wished Jesus a happy birthday!

Here is the few pictures I did get from the morning:
I think Joey was more interested in his milk and breakfast than he was with his presents!

Andrew examining his Thomas the Train game.

Adriana showing me her favorite Littlest Pet Shop animal, of course it was the horse.

Although, this Christmas had a little less toys than normal, I think they all had a great time and never complained about it!!! I'm so blessed to have three very sweet kids!!!! I wish I could give them the world, but until then I will give them endless amounts of my free attention!!!!!

Christmas Eve at Maw Maw's house!

On Christmas Eve we went to Maw Maw and Paw Paw's house and spent the evening. We all had a great time! Its one of the few times I get to see everyone together. Kevin and Jenny came up from Oklahoma the evening before and spent the earlier part of Christmas Eve at our house. Its always nice getting to visit with them especially since we only see them a few times a year! The kids were spoiled rotten as always!!! It makes it a lot easier for Santa to not have to bring as much to our house since they almost have everything from my parents house!!!!
Here is Joey opening up his presents. He had so much fun this year!!!! Adriana opening her presents and you can see how excited she was to get some Littlest Pet Shops!!!

And here is Andrew opening up his gifts. He was super fast opening his gifts so it was hard to get pictures of him....ha!Here is Adriana and her American Girl doll (yes, its a knock off but she doesn't really know that!) We were going to get her a real one, but I wasn't sure if she was going to like it. Well now I know she does so I think we might have to get her the real one now!Joey on his Police Motorcycle he got.....hum, police.....do you see a connection....hehehe!!!!Adriana loving on her Fur Real S'mores horse! I think this was one of her favorite gifts, especially with her obsession over horses!!!!Andrew on his dinosaur. He wasn't too sure about it at first, but then fell in love with it!Adriana and Andrew riding on the dinasaur togetherHere is the kids table for dinner.....yes, that is my kid eating with a net over his face (not that I always admit it :)!!!!! hahaha! Crazy little boy!!!! It wouldn't be Andrew if he wasn't being silly somehow!!!! Notice how Adriana and Jacob just competely iqnore him and keep eating :)Here is Kevin and Jenny!!! I don't get to see them to often so I have to take a picture of them while I can!!! We miss you guys!!!!

Another trip to see Santa!

I know, I know.....another Santa trip? But my kids were really wanting to see him again so of course I couldn't tell them no. I know I've only got a few years left of believing in Santa so I'm going to take advantage of it while I can and take them as often as I can. We went back to Bass Pro Shop on Saturday night since this is one of the places I can convince Chris to going. We got our fast pass then went around the store looking at all the dead animals and the different fish. The kids had a great time, but this was the first time I had tears on Santa's lap. Joey I think is done seeing the old man so he started crying when I set him on Santa's lap. But we were able to get the picture they take there. I tried to take one myself, but wouldn't you know it.....my camera battery went dead. So I don't have any pictures to post of this visit. Oh well, I still have my own keepsake at home. Before leaving we grabbed a bag of the kettle corn they sell out front and headed out to look at Christmas lights. All we needed was a little hot chocolate and it would have been perfect. After the Christmas lights tour, we went home and hopped into our pjs for a fun movie night. We put in a kid friendly Christmas movie and all four of us snuggled on the couch to watch the movie (Joey crashed out early and was already in bed.). I'm not sure who was more tired because I woke up to a blank tv screen and all four of us sleeping on the couch!!! Boy are we a boring bunch because it was only 10:30 when I woke up! Oh well, it was a really fun night though!!!!

Adriana's School Christmas Program!

On Wednesday Adriana had her school Christmas program. It was really cute! The kids all learned several different Christmas songs and sang them for us. They all walked in ringing bells and walked into their spots. Everyone stopped singing as soon as the music stopped except for our little Adriana who was still belting out the song:) It was so sweet, but of course she was embarressed and quickly looked away from everyone. The rest of the program was cute and we could hear Adriana singing almost louder than everyone else so I was quite the proud momma!!!! Maybe we have a future singer on our hands.......ha! Anyway here are some of the pictures from the show.
And we were able to get it all on camcorder as well, even her solo!!! I'm sure she will love us someday when we play it for all her friends.....hahaha!

The Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular!

On Sunday we went to see the Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular! I've been waiting for this to come back to St. Louis so I could take Adriana. We took my niece to see this when she was little down in Branson and she loved it and I've been waiting each year to see if it comes back to St. Louis or Branson to go and we finally made it!
We went with my mom, sister, Kaitlyn, Adriana, and Andrew. I didn't bring Joey because you have to pay full price for his ticket even though he would just be sitting on my lap and I just couldn't see spending that much money for a lap seat. The kids had a blast though and loved the show. Andrew was so excited every time Santa would come out on stage. It is definitely worth every penney spent to see the sparkle in their eyes watching the show.
Here are some pictures from the show. I couldn't use my own camera during the show as they don't allow it, but here are the pictures from their website.
The dancing dollies: This was the nativity scene. It was probably one of the best I have ever seen. They had live animals and all on stage. It was just amazing!!!!The rockettes dancing:Here is a picture of Kaitly, Adriana, and Andrew at the Fox Theatre. This is such an amazing theatre and I love coming to it. Here is Adriana and the girl that plays the nutcracker scene. I asked Adriana if she was scared in this picture, but she just said no she was just smiling.
When I was little I always said I was going to be a police officer or a Rockette dancer, now you know which one I choose.....ha! Probably a lot easier to do than become a Rockette. But of course Adriana now wants to become a Rockette, I guess its a good thing that she has her height on her side!!!! We shall see.....

Birthday party pictures!

So here are the pictures of Joey's big birthday party! Here he is opening his presents with a little help from his big brother.
Here he is playing on one of his presents, a tractor. I think Andrew liked this more than he did! Joey's personal cake.Joey's big cake to share, which is the one that Andrew thought was his.Singing happy birthday to Joey! And Joey enjoying enjoying his birthday cake. Not as messing as his siblings but he still liked it.

What a birthday party!

Poor Joey didn't exactly have the dream birthday party. It all started out on Saturday morning with Adriana waking me up at 5am saying that her throat hurt and running 103 degree fever. So we took a trip to the doctor and yep, she has strep throat. So the phone calls began. We had to call everyone and tell them not to come. So now we have a ton of food and only grandparents coming over. So we just ordered some pizza instead of making all the food. Then came cake time. Andrew was flipping out over us cutting the big cake, I guess because he thought it was his. So he put all the pieces back together and wouldn't let us cut it. Then Joey wanted nothing to do with his cake so he actually had a very clean birthday. He did get into the cake a little bit, but nothing like most one year olds. So that ends his not very exciting birthday. But he was surrounded by everyone that loves him so thats all that matters!!!! I will post the few pictures that I have later on. Happy 1st birthday Joey!!!!

Christmas pictures!

Every year I usually go to Sears to have the kids Christmas pictures taken (which easily costs me several hundred dollars). Well this year with the economy like it is and our budget getting tighter, I have decided to take the kids pictures myself. Let me tell you that I got my weeks worth of exercise in during these pictures. It was definitely hard to get everyone to sit still long enough to get a good picture. So here are a few of the pictures I had taken. Yes, then I thought it wasn't hard enough for me yet with just the three kids. So I decided to add our family dog, Sunny, into the picture. This dog is the craziest dog I have met so to get her to sit still along with the three kids was an absolute workout. But I did manage to get a decent picture for my Christmas cards.I was very proud of myself getting these pictures done. So were the kids as they were dancing with JOY!!!!

Decorating the Christmas Tree!

Usually I am one of the first people I know to get my Christmas tree up, but this year for some reason I have really been slacking! I'm not sure if its having two of my kids birthdays in December or starting up my new business or what but I've really been slacking! So we finally got our tree up and got it decorated. Here are some pictures of the kids decorating it. And although Joey wasn't much help with decorating the tree, he did try to eat a few ornaments while I wasn't looking. Sorry Joey, I'm not that slow!!!!

Andrew's birthday party!

Well this past Saturday we had Andrew's birthday party at the Museum of Transportation down in south County. It is a lot of fun there. You get the creation station room to yourself for the party and the kids get to play with all the fun stuff. Plus before hand we get to tour all the trains, which Andrew loves. We've had his birthday party there for the past two years and have had great experiences with them.
Anyway here are some of the pictures from the big day! The first two are of a few of the trains we visited before the party. And here is the proud birthday boy! He was so excited about having his birthday party. He tried to be a man and hide it, but I could see the excitement. Then of course he would turn away and act like it was no big deal. Silly boy! It made me feel proud that he was so happy!
So here he is with his hat on getting ready to eat his snack.Andrew with his friends.
Here is a picture of Adriana and her very first friend, Ainslee. They've been friends since Adriana was 5 months old!Andrew has been talking about his birthday party since Adriana had hers back in September. He kept saying he was going to have a truck birthday and a truck cake. Well a couple of weeks before his birthday we were looking through a birthday magazine and I asked him what kind of birthday he was going to have. All of a sudden it changed to a Go Diego Go birthday. So we got a Diego birthday cake instead of his truck cake. Here is Andrew getting ready to blow out his candles. As he was blowing he had only got one on his first try. He stopped and started looking around at all of us like he didn't know what to do. We all started telling him to blow out the rest, so he quickly did. Then he started laughing and said "Oh, I forgot....hahaha". He is my little crack up!Andrew received so many great toys from all his friends! He got home that night and had no idea where to even begin playing with all his cool stuff! My little chef in the making, Adriana!
And yes, baby Joey was there!

I'm glad you had such a great birthday party, Andrew! Happy birthday to my wittle boy!!!!!
