The class clown!
Today we went in for Andrew's parent teacher conferences at his preschool. I knew it would be completely different than any conference I went to with Adriana but I had no idea what I was about to hear. Well apparently my sweet little boy has turned into the class clown and the leader of the boys.......ugh! His teacher said he was very social and kind of went to the beat of his own drum, not really caring what others thought of him. She told me he does listen to her and does what he is supposed to, most of the time with a few reminders. She said she just has to keep him busy because if he has any down time he will start in with his comedy acts. So other than that, the only thing she really had concerns over was his speech. She said his language was great but his brain moves faster than his mouth so his speech isn't the best. She just suggested we do his dial 3 screening on him and see what they have to say about him. I asked if she had any other suggestions on me helping him over come being the class clown and she said no but for me to have fun when he gets into grade school......great! I'm not sure if thats what you ever want to hear from the teachers...ha! I guess I would rather hear that than him being the class bully.

Kids dentist appointments!
The kids had their dental appointments this week. Andrew went first on Monday morning. He was fine until they called him back then he wanted me to go back with him. So we went back and the hygeniest could tell Andrew was nervous so she let him look at all the cool tools and feel them all so he would know that they wouldn't hurt him. She then had him sit on the chair and started moving it up, I think that freaked him out a little bit and wouldn't lay back down. So we had someone come in and hold Joey so Andrew could sit on my lap and he was fine again. We got the cleaning done and NO CAVITIES again!!! But we were advised that his back teeth were closing in so we have to start flossing now. Andrew's teeth are close together anyways and have already been advised that we are going to have to have braces when he gets older......ugh!!!
Adriana went on Wednesday morning. She did much better and went back by herself. This was the first time she went back by herself so I was waiting for her to get freaked out. But she did great! They came and brought me back at the end of it and everyone was saying how cute she was, so I was just wondering what she was doing :) NO CAVITIES for her either.....woohoo!!!! They said she did great other than the x-rays and she told me she cried a little when they did them :( I know she didn't like them the last time they did them either. But all in all it was a great trip! We are good for another six months!!!!

Our cheap weekend!
I have really started watching our money since Chris will be loosing almost half of his pay since they are cutting out bonus'. So I have been trying to figure out cheaper ways to do fun things with the kids. So this weekend I tried to make it a fun filled weekend on a very tight budget so here was the results:
Friday night I took Adriana and Andrew ice skating at the Rec Plex-total price $0 (we have a membership there for cheap since I work there and we all have our own ice skates which I also got an amazing deal on!!!!)
Saturday we went to see Playhouse Disney Live-although I had to buy those tickets before (I actually paid for them before we found out about his bonus) we didn't spend any money there. We just brought our light up toys from previous shows and brought in our own food so our total price was $0.
Sunday I took Adriana and Andrew to see the movie Bolt at the dollar show-my total out of pocket $5. Adriana and Andrew paid for themselves with money they have been saving up and I just had to pay $1 for myself to get in. Earlier this morning I went to Walgreens to buy a paper and scored two free candy bars from my coupons so we took those with us. I just spent $4 for a soda for us to share with unlimited free refills.
So we were able to have an amazingly fun weekend with only $5 out of pocket and a little gas for the driving! Now if I can just keep finding cheap fun things to do we will be good to go!!!

Playhouse Disney Live!
Today we took the kids to see Playhouse Disney Live at Family Arena. I was very bummed because they would not allow my "professional camera" into the family arena so Chris had to run it back out to the car and needless to say we have no pictures :( Not sure I understand the rules there because there was plenty of other people that had their cameras there, but I guess mine is a "professional" one (whatever!!!) It wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be as they didn't have very many props at all and it was just a large TV behind the people doing the props. I thought it was a HUGE waste of money, but the kids did enjoy it so that made me feel a little better. On the way home I asked Adriana what her favorite part was and she said "When donald duck was shaking his butt" and started laughing hysterically. Glad thats what my money paid for.....ha! But I guess you can't put a price on a fun family day out and since this is the first show we have actually paid for to go to I can't complain too much. I just wish I could have taken some pictures to at least remember it, oh well!!!

Date with Daddy!
On Friday night Chris took Adriana to the Father/daughter dance at St. Peters City Hall. This is the same dance they went to last year and Adriana has spent all year talking about it. So of course they went back again this year!
In preparation for the night, Adriana got her nails and I spent almost 1 1/2 hours doing her hair! Chris also got her a wrist corsage to wear (alright, well I got it but Daddy gave it to her :).
So here is Adriana in her beautiful Cinderella dress:
Daddy putting her corsage on her wrist.
What a beautiful couple! Does she look excited or what?!
Of course I had to get a picture of my masterpiece :) So here is a picture of the back of her hair that I worked very hard on.
My beautiful little girl!!!!
They had a great time! Chris said Adriana wanted to dance as soon as they got there, but Chris didn't mind dancing to much there because he was about as good of a dancer as every other dad there :) They stayed almost the whole time and she was so excited to get home and tell me about her wonderful night with her Daddy and how she can't wait to go again next year!!!!

Now this is tired!!!!!
We had been running errands all day last week and I just grabbed McDonalds for the kids to eat since they were so hungry. They started eating their lunch on the way home and when I looked back I saw that Andrew had fallen asleep with a full piece of chicken nugget in his mouth! Now that is when you know you're tired:)
Snow much fun!
I know I'm a little late getting these pictures up, but what can I say.......life is crazy hectic with three little kids :)
Anyways, here is finally the pictures of the kids playing in our first big snowfall. They had a blast and we got plenty of snow for the kids to play in....around 6"! The kids got a new sled and it was the best thing ever for them! Our back yard has a slight slope so it worked out great to go down the hill and straight into the fence, ha! Here is a few pictures of their sledding fun.
Even Sunny had fun playing with the kids in the snow!
Look at my snowy hands, mom!
We did get to build a snowman, but I forgot to get a picture of it. Well I should say I built a snowman, the kids were to busy sledding but they insisted that I make one for them.
What is better after a hard day playing in the snow than hot chocolate and smores! I built a nice warm fire to warm up to and we made some smores in the fire. Yum, this was my favorite part!

My big girl is going to kindergarten :(
Today we went to St. Charles Borromeo and did a tour of the school. This was a flashback moment for Chris since he went to that school through 8th grade and it hasn't changed a whole lot since then. They were super nice to Adriana and let her go into all the classrooms and meet everyone. I think it was really neat that she got to see all the students in class and see how much fun they were having, at least the smaller grades ;) She also got to see the uniforms she will soon be wearing and wasn't too impressed with not being able to wear all her fancy outfits to school, but I told her I would make sure she got some pretty bows to match her outfit then she was alright with it. It is just really hard knowing that I will be letting go of my baby and she will soon be in big girl school :( I have a few more months to bring myself to this reality though, but I know I will be a blubbery mess her first day of school.

What a party pooper!
Tonight was my friend Whitney's daughter's birthday party. She was having it at the Carousel in Faust Park and my kids were so excited because we have never been there. Well I was only going to take the older two kids and have Chris watch Joey because it would have been easier for me to just chase after the two. Well the party started at 4:00 and it was 5 minutes til 4 and Chris was still in Troy after picking up some firewood at the farm. I decided I would just take all three with me so we could still get there in time to have some fun. So we get there about 4:45 and the kids were very excited to get on the carousel. I got them all out of their coats and loaded all three kids onto the ride. I was standing next to Joey and Andrew when Joey all of a sudden put his arms out to me. I thought he was wanting me to hold him, but instead he burried his head into my chest and out it came. He threw up all over me and him. So I jumped off the ride before it started and sent someone up to watch after the other two. I took the two of us into the bathroom to try to clean us up, but there was no point to it as we were both a mess. I came back out to gather the older two up and tell them we had to go. I was waiting for a big scene from the two of them because I know they were both very disapointed that we didn't get to stay. But they both did wonderful and left without a fuss. So we left and I promised them we would go to the store after we dropped Joey off and I would get them a cake since they had to miss Ava's birthday cake.
Well my poor little baby threw up 3 more times on the way home and has continued throwing up and dry heaving all night. I finally called my doctors exchange because I was afraid maybe he had food poisoning. Well they said he probably just had a stomach bug because we all ate the same thing and the rest of us were fine. He has no fever at all which is strange. So I have stocked up on my caffeine for the night and have myself prepared for a long night, especially if he continues to keep nothing down and gets dehydrated. We shall see how it goes. Never a dull moment at the Weber house!!!!!
