Day 5 brought us back to the zoo but this time with MawMaw! I wasn't sure how the weather was going to hold up because it was calling for chance of rain in the morning but we decided to chance it anyway. It turned out to be an incredible day and there was hardly anyone else there which made for a perfect day. We got to see many animals throughtout the day......the first one started with a little bird :)

Going with Mawmaw brings a few perks such as a trip to Build a Bear!

Joey and his "bear bear" which is his favorite animal. For those of you who don't know "bear bear" is a panda bear. This has been his favorite since he was very young. Oh and he gave him a little Cardinals spirit and dressed him up!
Andrew and his penguin which is Andrew's favorite animal. And surprise, surprise.....he dressed him up like a Blue's hockey player!
Next we headed over to the Children's Zoo for some fun. My kids LOVE this area and could easily spend the whole day in there.
The river otters had so much fun playing with the kids. This one kept going to the bottom of the water and when he got to the spot where the kids were he would come up really quickly and sit there for a second then do it again. The kids were all laughing so hard and they actually had a little crowd gathered around them to watch the otter play with them. It was so cute!

Another perk with having MawMaw around is the kids got to get their faces paited. Joey got a "bear bear" surprise, surprise!

Andrew got a eagle because his hockey team is the eagles!

We had a great time and since we got our membership renewed I know there will be many other fun times to be had there!
