When we got home from the clubhouse we threw out some reindeer food so the reindeers knew where to stop. Then we headed in to get to sleep.
Andrew was asleep but maybe an hour and comes down to see if Santa had come yet. Well Chris and I were just relaxing on the couch and luckily hadn't put out the gifts yet. So we sent him back off to bed and told him Santa wouldn't come until everyone was asleep in the house. Then next morning Andrew woke everyone up at 5:30am to tell us Santa had come.
Well St. Nick brings the same thing to our house every year. I make a blanket for the kids each year that reminds me of something they really like then they get a new ornament for the tree that also is special to them.
So this year Adriana got a Tinkerbell fairy blanket because she has been very much into Tinkerbell during the year.

I forgot to get a picture of the ornaments, but Adriana's was an ornament of a girl playing soccer since this was her first year playing.
Andrew's blanket was power rangers (I really wanted to get Trans Formers but couldn't find the material), but he loves power rangers too so it worked out.
Joey got a Bob the Builder blanket because of his love of Bob the Builder.
(he is naked on his blanket because we are in the middle of potty training and he doesn't want to wear clothes while we are at home). Joey's ornament was of a train with his name on it because he loves trains!Of course St. Nick leaves something for mommy and daddy as well. We get our family ornament every year from St. Nick. Here is our ornament this year.
Although the kids blankets look small in the picture because they are folded, they actually fit a twin bed. And there isn't much too them now, as the years go on and I get a little free time I would love to make them each a quilt or some kind of special blanket (maybe with their old sport shirts or something from the year before). We shall see what my creative juices eventually bring out!
