Lake Carlyle!

This past weekend we went with MawMaw, PawPaw, my sister, my niece, and my nephew down to Lake Carlyle to spend some time out on the boat. When we got down there Adriana was so excited to be able to try skiing. So we watched the video on skiing and got her all strapped into the beginners skiis and she was ready to go. Well my dad thought he was supposed to take off slow, but he went a little too slow and she ended up drinking a gallon of water and was pretty scared after that. She said she wanted to try again, but you can see from the look in this picture she was still really scared so I told her we would wait until next year because 6 is still really young to be skiing.

So instead she had a blast playing on the kneeboard and tube.

Joey said he wanted to go out on the tube so I said I would go with him since there was no way I would let him be out there by himself. Well since the other tube broke after Branson, my parents brought out their old one person tube. So me and Joey climbed in and I told my dad to go slow with him. Well apparently he was going too slow and the tube was getting more and more water in it until we were finally almost completely under water. I kept saying to stop but everyone was laughing so hard.....including Joey who thought it was so much fun! Well they eventually stopped for us and I decided we would not do that again!

Here is my niece being a show off while skiing! She is so cute!

This was the first time my 10 year old nephew got up on skiis! He did awesome and got right up! We were so proud of him!

After Adriana kneeboarded in Branson, Andrew decided that he just had to try it. So I went out there with him and got him set up on the kneeboard and held on to the back for awhile to make sure he was alright. Well holding on to the back of a kneeboard while being dragged with most of your body in the water makes for some really tired arms. So I finally had to let go and let him be on his own and much to my surprise he did awesome! It took him awhile to realize I wasn't on the back anymore but he still stayed on and keeps saying he can't wait to go again. He is definitely one brave little 4 year old boy!

We had a great time once again and can't wait to go out one more time before summer ends! Thanks for sharing your boat with us again MawMaw and PawPaw!!!!
