Disney on Ice!

This past Saturday I got tickets to take my mom and the kids to Disney on Ice. My kids LOVE these shows and we see them every year!
So here is my kids with Maw Maw getting ready for the show to start.

Here is several pictures from the show.

We all had a great time and the kids are still talking about all of their favorite scenes!

A fun weekend!

Wow, I know I'm behind when I'm trying to type this which happened a couple of weeks ago. So Chris went out of town for opening trout seasoning so it was just me and the kids all weekend. So I tried to find lots of fun, cheap things for us to do. Chris left Thursday afternoon so Thursday night me and the kids went out to eat at Steak n Shake using some good coupons and a couple of gift cards we had. Friday I had to work a day shift so my mom and dad babysat the kids. Adriana only had a half day so my parents decided to take them to Chuck E Cheese for lunch/dinner (since they spent almost 4 hours there). I picked them up after work from there and we went then went to the dollar show to watch Princess and the Frog. Saturday morning came and after some coercing from my sister, we headed to the Parents as Teachers event called Read In. The kids had a lot of blast seeing Aunt Kimmie and all the fun things they had there. After that we made a much needed trip to Costco, which believe it or not is one of my kids favorite places to go. We also got a pizza from there for our lunch, which is a special treat for them. We then headed home and with the weather being so nice we spent the rest of the day outside. Sunday came and we all got up and went to Church. Yes, I survived Church with the three kids by myself. After Church we always get doughnuts (I think that's the only reason my kids get so excited to go to Church on Sunday mornings). We then headed home and played outside with Daddy who surprised us by coming home early. It was a great weekend and mommy actually spoiled them a little and let them watch a movie in her room and sleep in bed with her. What a special weekend we all had together! Unfortunately the only pictures I had taken were from the PAT Read In event so here you go:
Here is Adriana and Andrew helping Aunt Kimmie with the matching game.

Here is Joey playing in the construction area with all the trucks.

They had the firetruck there and also had the firemen reading some stories to the kids. Here is Adriana in the fire truck.

And here is Andrew in the firetruck.

Happy birthday Ava!

Last weekend we had two birthday parties we got to go to. Unfortunately one party was a swimming party so of course I didn't get any pictures from Chase's party. Our second party was Ava's fifth birthday party. Whitney did an awesome job with the party. In the basement they built a huge castle out of very large boxes which the kids all loved playing in.
Then she had little boxes the kids got to decorate for their treasure boxes and got to go on a treasure hut around the house. Here is Adriana and Andrew decorating their boxes. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of the treasure hunt as I was too busy trying to keep up with three kids going in three different ways.

Of course since it was a princess party, all the girls got to dress up in their princess dresses. Well the boys wanted to dress up to so Andrew was bumble bee the transformer and Joey was spiderman.
Here is Joey in his costume.

Here is a picture of Ava's cake. It was very cute!

And the birthday girl while we were singing happy birthday to her.

This is Ava when she was opening her pictures. It cracks me up.......we were saying that she looked like the morning after already! hehe!!!!

We had such a great time and Whitney is such a great host and even allowed us to be one of the last to leave! Thanks again for such a great time Whit!!!!!!

Field trip to firehouse

A couple of weeks ago (yes thats how far behind I am) we took a tour to the firehouse with the girlscout troop. This was an extra special tour because it was at her Uncle Dan's firehouse and he was leading the tour, for awhile anyway until he got called out.
So here is Uncle Dan talking to the girls about fire safety and getting ready to put on a movie.

Here is a picture of all the girls in the bunkhouse.

After the firetruck had to leave on a call, they got a tour of the ambulance.

When the firetruck got back, poor Uncle Dan was taking care of Joey who was crying because of the loud noises the trucks made so another fireman had to help out with the tour.
Here is Adriana sitting in the firetruck.

Here is Andrew sitting inside the firetruck with a goofy look on the poor firemans face......hehe!

And last here is a not so good picture of the girls in front of the firetruck, if you can see them.

The girls all had a great time and we can't wait to do this again sometime!

Sibling love X 3

I realize that each of our children have their own room, but I'm not really sure why since none of them will sleep by themselves. Now Joey has taken it upon himself to also sleep in Adriana's room. So maybe I should just get a queen size bed in there and let them all share one room ;) Whatcha think?!

Monster truck show!

While Chris got to enjoy an evening out at the father/daughter dance with Adriana, I somehow got talked into taking the boys to the Monster truck show, and not just my two boys but also my ten year old nephew Jacob as well. So I convinced (alright dragged) my mom with me to help me out with all these boys. It actually wasn't as loud and crazy as I thought it would be and surprisingly enjoyed myself.
Here is Joey watching the show on MawMaw's lap. He wouldn't take his headphones off all night and just watched the show. I didn't know how he would do, but he really enjoyed the show and is still talking about the monster trucks.

My two boys watching the show. Andrew wouldn't wear the headphones which is a good thing we were up so high and the noise wasn't so bad. I think he wanted to be like Jacob though who also wouldn't wear his headphones.

Here is the three boys watching the show. This was pretty much the scene for most of the night as they were all three mesmerized by the show

So here are some of the pictures of the trucks doing their jumps.

And our favorite part of the night....the CRASHES!!!!

Butterfly kisses dance!

This past Saturday night Chris took Adriana to the St. Peters Father/Daughter dance butterfly kisses. This is the 3rd year they've gone to it and Adriana looks so forward to going every year. She actually bought the dress for this dance back in the fall and put it in a special place in her closet for the father/daughter dance. This year I decided to make it extra special and have her hair done in a hair salon. She was so excited!
Here she is waiting to get her hair done.

Here is the back of her hair after it was done.

I also let her get her nails done.

So here is the beauty queen after she was all dolled up!

I thought this picture was too funny! The boys wanted to sneak in on some picture taking!

Kindergarten father/daughter dance

Last week was Catholic School week which had lots of fun things for all the kids. Each day was a fun activity and they had a roller skating night on Wednesday night which the kids had a blast at, but of course I forgot my camera :(. Friday was the last day and it included a pep assemble before they were released for their half day. We were saying many prayers there wouldn't be a snow day since they were forcasting several inches of snow. Luckily our prayers came true and they did have school. Chris took the day off so he could dance with Adriana during the assembly. Adriana got to wear her fanciest dress to school and Chris got to dress up to come meet her. Well Adriana picked out a spagetti strapped dress which isn't allowed at school and the only white sweater I could find wasn't the best but what else could you do. So here are some pictures of Adriana and Chris dancing during their father/daughter dance. They danced to the song I Loved Her First.

It was very cute and took everything I had not to cry.
