CRHP retreat!

This past weekend was the women's CRHP (Christ renews His parish) retreat. I was very hesitant in going because no one really would tell me what to expect from the weekend. But after having so many Church members insist that I really need this weekend and that I should go, I finally agreed and went.
It was the best weekend I have had in a LONG time! It was something that I really did need after everything my family has been through this year. Although I can't talk about the specific details of the weekend, I can tell you that it was a lot of eating, crying, eating, hugging, eating, and crying. That about sums it up! But really I can't even express how good I feel about God and church right now. And I came closer to friends I already had and was able to make new friends that I can't wait to get to know even better!
I am so looking forward to continuing my CRPH experience for the next 6 months and help with the new group of women that will experience it! I know I don't have any pictures or stories that I can share but wanted to let any Catholic women out there know that if you ever get the chance to go on a CRPH retreat please do, I can't even put into words what an incredible experience it has been for me! Chris will be also attending in the fall and I can't wait for him to experience it as well. All I could say when he picked me up was "you have got to go next time!"
