Adriana's school field trip!

today was Adriana's field trip to Eckert's pumpkin patch. I'm lucky enough to be able to attend all of her field trips and I love it. I love this age because all the kids are friends.....boys, girls, everyone. There are no clicks and everyone just loves everyone. Going to such a small school where parents have to be involved makes it easy to know every child and every child's parent. Over the past year and a half I have made some wonderful friendships with so many people who also happen to be my daughter's friend's parents......double bonus.
So here is a few pictures Adriana and her friends at the pumpkin patch.
First playing with some animals.....

Then we listened to one of the workers tell us all about growing pumpkins. Apparently she does this every year and has become well known that her family also went to St. Charles Borromeo school so she just loves our classes. Its a small world!

Then we took a short hayride or I guess I should say wagon ride over to the pumpkin fields.

Then the hunt for the perfect pumpkin begins!

It was so funny to see some of the pumpkins these kids came up with. Of course most of the boys had to find the biggest one their little arms could carry!
After finding the perfect pumpkin the kids got a little more free time to play.

Here is Adriana's entire class along with her teacher's Mrs. Santel and Ms. Heppermen.

It was a great time and I'm so lucky to be able to enjoy all these things with my kids! I can't wait to see where we will be going on the next field trip!
