Team spirit!

I know this is kind of a bragging post but I had to post it anyway because I was so proud of Adriana's soccer team. Yesterday, Adriana's soccer team had a makeup game from a few weeks back. We noticed right before the game that we only had 6 girls there to play. I'm not sure if it was because it was a makeup game and everyone forgot about it or what but that was all that showed up. Our coach was out of town because of a soccer tournament one of his other daughters had so our two assistant coaches had to take over. Now mind you we only have 6 girls and there are 7 girls supposed to be out on the field. So we are playing short one girl on the field and we have no subs plus we only had a couple of our good players playing. So we were sure we would be in for a lose, which is no big deal. But as these girls started playing, you could tell how hard they were playing. All 6 of those girls put there hearts into the game and everyone of them played so good! All of us parents stood on the sidelines with water bottles giving them drinks as they needed it in between plays. I really wouldn't have cared if they won or lost just watching these girls put everything they had into this game and never giving up was so amazing to watch. The team work and pride they all had at the end and the smiles these girls had on their faces knowing how hard they all played just melted my heart. So of course us parents took the team to the snackbar and bought them drinks and snacks and whatever these girls wanted. This is a game I think none of them will ever forget. They played so hard and really came together as a team knowing they had to do this together. It was really amazing to watch and we were all so proud of these girls. Not that the score mattered so much but they won this game 2-0! Way to go Borromeo Bobcats!
