Parish picnic!

This past Saturday was the start of the St. Charles Borromeo parish picnic. The kids look so forward to this every year and Adriana does even more so because it becomes a big social event for all the school kids. This year it started with the 5:00 Mass outside. I didn't think it would go so well with all the wind but it ended up being a really neat Mass. Hopefully we can do it every year! Then came on the fun!

They played probably about 50 games a piece although this seems to be the only picture I got of the game playing.

After playing some of the games we took a break and got some dinner to eat. There was a lot of yummy barbque to eat plus all the junk food the kids seemed to find!
Even though it was a bit chilly out, that didn't stop Andrew from eating some ice cream!

Then came the rides! Adriana riding on the swings. Sorry about the red eyes on a lot of these pictures.....for some reason my camera couldn't seem to fix them.

This is a very happy little girl!

And an even happier little boy! "That was so fun mom!!!"

It was such a fun night and a great time hanging with our parish family! The kids are already asking when we can go to the parish picnic again.....
